Hello, Internet peeps! How are things going on? I hope they did as well. I’m sorry for not posting anything through several past times. Because on past July, I just started high school. And wow, it changes me a lot! It starts from my outfits, the way I talk (my neighbor adore it), my order of thinking, confidence, etc. I’m glad it turns me to a better person I be.

Anyway, this time, I go by ’15 Things I Learned By 15’. Well, I just reached 16 on December 18. I know it’s late, but at least, not really late, is it? Okay, here we go.

1. Believe yourself
I put this on the 1st thing I learned, because it’s the main thing I should learned by and not forget. You have to believe yourself and trust your ability. Everyone has their own goodnesses, so are you. So, try to love yourself, so you could love everyone, either.

2. Don’t get defined by your past
How worse your past was, don’t you ever worried about that. It’s over. You have to move forward and live your life now and on, not then. What was happened, is happened. Otherwise, you can learn something about your past and use it as your motivation to step on.

3. Try to appreciate people that surrounds you
You have to learn to appreciate and giving respect to people that surrounds you everyday, everywhere they are. It’s important, because if you don’t do that, people will see you as an arrogant person and apathy. It’s easy, just interact with them by giving them greetings when you both meet or smile and wave to them or giving compliment. If you wanna get appreciated, you have to appreciate others too.

4. Think before you speak
Some people ways of thinking are different with you, get over it. Kindly, you have to think before you speak or act. There’s always a chance if our slipped words made them feeling bad; so, it’s the best way to avoid that thing to happen.

5. Don’t force people to change
People have their own personalities, and some of them can’t be changed. It’s like a spike that always will be planted on their souls, because it’s given by God. You have to give them respect and try not to hurt their feelings by saying such things like, “You’re a bad person. Change yourself.” That’s rude. Don’t judge a book by its cover. Just because they have a dark side, doesn’t always mean they’re bad.

6. Embrace yourself
Show your true self. Everyone should not hide their true colors and live in the closet. Be confident. Tell what people should hear and should know. You deserve it. No matter about what they are going to say, even though it’s bad, remember: it’s your life, not theirs. You live your life, they live their lives.

7. Fight for your rights
Everytime you get mocked by or you feel that you’re right and everyone’s wrong, fight for it (but you have to get strong sources why you’re right and think hard about it). Don’t be in silent – it’s not good for your mental health. To avoid the unwanted consecuences to happen, be brave to oppose people opinions. Yes, sometimes, you have to be selfish and just don’t care about what people tell. Because actually, almost everything that you hears are opinions, not facts.

8. Be kind
If you wanna get a good treatment by others, you have to treat them good, either. Everything has its own opposites.

9. Everyone has their own roads to success
You can’t force someone to do exactly similar things like you do to get success in future. Everyone has their own unique ways to reach it. It’s their businesses, not yours. Yet, you can give them solutions or motivations, but do not force.

10. Too much love will kill you
It’s like a song title, ‘Too Much Love Will Kill You’ by Queen. Simple words, but very meaningful. I understand, I see, teenage world is full of “love” things. Girls started to have crushes on boys, so do the boys. Love is honestly very beautiful – it’s the most beautiful thing in the world. It do right if you do it right. But if you adore it so much, it’d kill you slowly on the inside. Once I was on a deep sadness being left by someone that I loved so much, ‘till I was on tears and exactly.. wanted to cut. But, fortunately, I realized that it was a very very stupid thing to do. The devils were defeated the angels, so the devils whispered that to me, and so do the other teenagers that in hurts. Be careful by “love”, the devils are sometimes running around your head and whispering something that makes you wanna do an awful thing.

11. Make friends
But really, is there anyone who feels, “It’s okay” when there’s no one by his/her side? When you feeling down, there’s no one by your side that give you his/her shoulder to lean on. When you’re bored, there’s no one who would amuse you. When you feeling glad, there’s no one who will be smile together with you. A life like that is so so so boring. If I was that person, I think I’m gonna die.

12. Don’t waste too much time on the Internet
Internet is addictive. It’s actually really helpful if we don’t really get on it. But once you get deep into it, you’ll never come back into your ordinary life unless you have a strong effort. Why I said that? Because I’ve been going through it, and slowly, I succeeded get away from the Internet and live my real life with real people.

13. Every problems has their own solutions
Do you believe in God? You better do. Because a lot of miracles come from Him. Did you realize, everytime you feel down because of problems that haunted your mind, slowly it getting better? It’s because of Him. He always has better plans and always stand by you. So, don’t you ever said, “God’s not fair!” Yes, he does. He always fair.

14. Read books
Trust me, it works. If you didn’t like to read book, read as much as you can. Force yourself to do it, defeat your laziness, and see, you’ll like it. Go to the library and borrow some books. Do it everyday. Without your consciousness, you’ll getting smart. Good luck on your trial!

15. Try to love the things you hate
Last but not least, try to love the things you hate. I worked so hard on this situation until it works. I was really hated Math, I even got C for it. I was really sad and even called myself as “a stupid student”. But then I realized, I can’t always get stucked on it. “I have to work hard on Math,” said my heart. Then it did works! I got B for the next semester. So, don’t give up on the things that you don’t like. But, try to face it!

So, that was ’15 Things I Learned By 15’. I hope you guys got motivations from it and don’t give up on life. Stay original and cheers up!
